Questions bout loestrine 24?

I just started taking the Loestrine 24 (sorry for misspelling?) and it's much different then the other pills I've been on. The sugar pills at the end of the pack are brown and that's very weird to me. Just making sure these are really sugar pills. I've been on almost any pill imaginable and I've never seen one with brown sugar pills. I don't normally take the sugar pills with other birth control but I'm just making sure that's what these really are because I've never had this one before. I'm asking here becasue I thru the directions out because I figured it was like every other birth control..guess I was wrong lol
