What is this sharp pain in my abdomen?

I started having this sharp pain about a week ago, in my abdomen, on the right side that gradually got worse as the week went on. I went to the dr. Monday, and she thought it was either an ovarian cyst or appendicitis. She was leaning more towards appendicitis, because with a cyst, I wouldn't have a fever and nausea, which I've had. I had bloodwork that came back normal, so she sent me for a CT scan. That came back normal, and didn't show appendicitis or a cyst. So what could it be? I don't think it's a UTI or constipation or anything, cuz I haven't had to go to the bathroom any more than I've had to, and I haven't had painful urination. ???
