How's this as an idea for a story?

We follow a woman who is born into a dystopia society, where the ruler decides who and what is born, and for what purpose. "The way" this is established is people having casual , and once a woman is determined to be pregnant, she is taken away to a clinic where she is put to sleep while her bio-mechanisms are steroided and flourished. The catch is that she is in a cirstance where the process is interrupted and she is witness to a deep dark secret that inherently subverts the mental constructs of the society she lives in, (she witnesses a human being emerging from her womb) the truth of live birth. The second half of the story follows her reactions and how they interplay with the reactions of the society.
