Could i get sued by a company that no longer exists?

can i get sued by a company that no longer exists? i have a youtube video that was removed in 2008 for copyright infringement. now that company (ameriquest) no longer exists so how can i get the claim appealed? i'm trying to appeal all the copyright claims i have on my youtube account. please help! thanks
