Using neighbors wireless internet?

I dont want to hear you preaching to me that stealing internet is wrong, they should've secured it, I need some suggestions, I live in the apartments, one of the neighbors has unsecured wireless, im using but its a weak signal, I bought a router, now how can I set it up to have good speed?
